Share the Color Scheme Love

I was wondering if anyone has some nice color schemes they have put together for Aptana. I noticed that the new feature allows for importing and exporting color schemes. As soon as I put together a nice syntax color scheme I will try to share it, but where can users share their color schemes? It would be cool if there was some kind of user submitted/contribution section of the Aptana site.

That kind of the idea I'm talking about. It would be very nice to be able to have a preview and some .col files that users could contribute. As it is now, I like Aptana's new highly customizable syntax color schemes, but it is not exactly easy make modifications to the global editor color options and to the language specific colors without messing up one of your color schemes. I have what I think is a pretty nice color scheme loosely based on http://slinky.imukuppi.org/zenburn/.

The problem with my themes is that the Rails and Ruby syntax coloring sections are different than the main Aptana syntax coloring sections. Therefore it makes exporting my color scheme rather difficult/impossible. Not to mention, most of my other languages syntax coloring is messed up due to the inconsistent color interfaces.

Hello... I've got a dark theme I put together after The Dr. Nic Williams TextMate theme stopped working with a recent update of Aptana. I'm by no means an Aptana expert (total n00b actually), but hopefully other people who were upset to lose the Dr. Nic theme will be able to make use of this one.



You can download it from http://www.dave-dean.co.uk/aptana/aptana_prefs_dark_theme.zip

You will need to import the three colourisation files in the relevant parts of the Preferences dialog for ERB, HTML and CSS and import my preferences file for Ruby colourisation from the File | Import menu. (Other than some colour changes, my preferences aren't changed much from the defaults).

Note: I haven't found a way to properly colour symbols in ERB - to my mind, this should really take colourisation from the Ruby preferences. Also, bear in mind I only use Aptana for Ruby on Rails development - I don't know how useful this theme will be for you other peeps.

Feel free to tweak to your hearts content and improve on it.

Yeah, I think that a user submission side of the site will be nice. So people can upload perspectives, preferences, color files, and lexer files.
