keithar,

You may need to disable the Firefox browser preview from the CSS editor on Vista x64.

Can you see if that helps?

Also, are you using java 32-bit or 64-bit?
Sincerely,
Kevin Sawicki

Got the same bug, but posted in Dev. Where ARE we supposed to post bug related forum posts?

http://forums.aptana.com/viewtopic.php?t=4512

As a side note, does anyone know how to turn off the new code insertion buttons? they are taking up screen real estate and I will never use them.

Hi Matt,

The best place to post bugs is in ASAP. If you're experiencing an issue that someone has already posted, please "vote" and comment on the ASAP ticket--this gives us an idea of how many users are affected and which configurations are affected.

As far as the toolbar goes, go to Window > Preferences... > Aptana > Editors, then select an Editor and uncheck the Display Toolbar box.

Hope this helps,
Michelle

Hi,

If you go to Window->Preferences->Aptana->Editors->CSS->Validation then click the plus icon then add .*Unknown pseudo-element.* in the dialog then hit OK it should remove these errors.

I'm using 64bit version of java. I have disabled Firefox preview but this didn't fixed my problem. I have noticed one strange thing. When i'm switching between IE/FF preview and source tab my stylesheet/html is revealed.

Could you try using 32-bit Java and see if the issue persists?

Well it's not a fix, it's just a workaround. :hover or :link won't cause an error, but :foo won't either.

We have a fix for it so hopefully that workaround will be enough until we release the fix.

Also you could expand on the rule I added that more closely matches the incorrect errors.
